Default vented hood or parallel oil coolers? OR both!!

have two ideas to help kill my heat issues on track. I'm also TX so we already have a hill to climb heat wise! Last summer, and even into the fall, i would see 260 plus about 2/3 of the way through a 20 min session... arg

I'm looking to either do a vented hood using trackspec vents
https://trackspecmotorsports.com/nis...er-vent-kit-79

Or running a parallel 34 row oil cooler. From my reading on these forums the oil pump can handle the extra cooler, and parallel vs series is the way to go. I also have a thermostatic plate since this is still a daily driver.

Eventually I will probably end up doing both but seat time costs and so do these parts! Basically i'm trying to figure out which give me the most "bang for my buck" to start with. Does anyone have a suggestion of where to start?

Go with the full set of hood vents first and see if that is all you need because if you need an additional oil cooler you will still need the vents. I ran a 72 row oil cooler vented my bumper and have Trackspec hood vents.

I run the full Trackspec vents, a 30 row cooler mounted in free air and Stillen Bumper. Zero issues.

Just a 34row wasn't enough for me at the track.
Added the hood vents and that was enough just enough.
If I ever add more power I will need to add an oil cooler/baffels/etc.

I don’t know about you but I want to prolong the life of my car as much as possible. I run a 34 row oil cooler and CF vented hood (real vents lol). My vote goes to both!

prob better to add a fan to the cooler ... depending on what track, sometimes the track speeds (ram air) dont coincide with the airflow. having a fan to help run CFM across the cooler at any speed will assist... I personally run side mounted 34row, and a 16 row power steering cooler, both on spal fans,.... its the coolest my Z has run...

I have the CSF radiator with Trackspec center hood vent. No overheating, and I run in FL. Track only car. Naturally aspirated.
