Clutch and csc, just run Bs, unless you build it'll be tough to run asp

Its a Nismo so it already is bumped to AS. I'm not planning on being particularly competitive since I want to keep the ride reasonable. I daily the car in the summer. I probably could get away with AS locally and no one would care. Pretty sure since the clutch is not OEM technically it does get bumped to SP. Figure if i'm just out there for the fun I can anchor SSP from the back and keep the peace.

If you're not going to run Hoosiers, you should atleast run Bridgestone re71r's. You want the widest tires you can get.

Also, fyi 370z's don't run SSP. We are ASP.

I was planning on putting on either 285's or 295's on my stock rims I think they all come in that size.

To the classing note; They all should be ASP but since the SCCA hasn't updated the class for them any 2014 and up is in the catch all SSP class.

I believe back in the days of Hoosiers in stock class people were running up to 295's on the factory wheels.

As far as the classing goes, write a letter. Solo Events Board

Right on, Thanks for the ideas guys. I'm not an SCCA member so I can write in to have the classing changed. To be fair if I'm anchoring SSP or ASP it doesn't really matter to me. Without a full build it wont really matter.

Ugh I think they discontinued the 295/30r19 Hoosier A6. I did buy a setup from a C stock guy back in the day with 295 front 315 rear hoosier A6s on the OEM Rays. This year I'm running 295/30r19 Toyo R888's on a square rear Rays setup. Not the best autox tire, but does the job, and can pull double duty for HPDE and drive you there to the event as well.
