2016 Conti series Doran racing
As many of you may have heard... Doran racing lost our main backing from Nissan Motorsports after they consolidated their budgets for 2016. The team has been working hard to the return to the grid for the upcoming Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series season. We have been making positive strides towards this goal .... but are still looking for potential sponsors. Any contacts that could be interested in partnering with our program are greatly appreciated and can contact me via Private message. We have a team working hard on this and would love to be back up front with our 370Z program. We were one of the fan favorites throughout the year at every track and our research suggests there is excellent ROI that associated with sponsorship of the team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This is great news. How about something like a 370Z.com Forum sponsorship?
That's where everyone on the forum pitches in a couple of bucks. And the forum gets it's name on the side of the car. Those who pitch in a set mount, gets a Doran tee shirt. Sound like a good idea?

I wish the team the best of luck. I watch every race and root for the Nismos from starting flag to the checkered. Cudos for doing as well as you have. You've had to work twice as hard and have twice the luck as some of the other teams.
That being said I don't see how the 370 can be consistently competitive in a class dominated by V8s. One would think the V6 has to have every last ounce of power and then some squeezed from from it while the V8s are (seemingly) running well below their capabilities. It'd be nice if the 370 had 400hp to start off with and the durability to match. A detuned V6 with a twin turbo similar to the GTR would be ideal but I don't see that happening as it would compete with Nissan's flagship model. I sincerely hope y'all kick butt and take names this year. I'll be watching every race.

Think their season was over before it started.
