tl;dw version: More air flow and more surface area for more cooling. The fuel pump generates a lot of heat.
Some good info in there for those who are just learning about heat generation/transfer in a car but nothing new if you've read even one technical article. Ie, if you don't know anything about it, it's worth watching; if you've done any reading on the subject, I suggest passing.

Good video, puts it in a way most folks can understand it. I can say this about fuel heat management. When I was on the way to the dragon this year I needed fuel not far from Atlanta. I jumped off the interstate to fill up. Loosened the fuel cap and I could hear a boiling sound. This is with just a stock car 2 1/2 hrs into a trip on the interstate in not so hot weather. It was warm, but not blazing south Ga. hot. The 370z sure has some design issues with heat management and most everyone knows about them.

On the subject of fuel temp. There is a temp sensor in the fuel tank. I found it when I was hooked up to UpRev and I was logging some stuff.

Most of what they are talking about is how to format a request to the car for info and what form the returned data is in. If your software will allow you to manually input an address (mode + PID), you may be able to access some of the parameters they mention.
