New feature request, comments on posts
I would like to make a suggestion for a new feature. I've been thinking about it and thought when a users posts on a thread, to be able to comment on posts, this way instead of quoting users and the thread getting longer users can stay more on topic. This would be kind of a mini thread inside a thread, but think the benefits outweigh the negatives. I have drawn a quick illustration to better explain. I've seen this on other forms/blogs. I don't know what CMS you use and whether a module is available for it or if it would have to be custom. But expanding on this idea, you can even show the first comment on a post and allow users to expand/collapse to save thread length.
