Was talking cars with a friend this weekend as I'm looking at getting a 2015 Nismo in a few months, and the topic of upgrades came up. I mentioned that some of the first thing I'd look to do would be a Stillen G3 intake and a Fast Intentions catback and high flow cats.
He told me that you can't mess with the stock cats until the car has 75K miles on it. I did some google searching and it looks like he's right, as far as I can tell. I'm sure I've seen newer cars with upgraded cats though. Is this just a Texas thing? Is there a way around this? I feel like I'm missing something here. Thanks! |
