Default Formula 1 new 2014 engines..a disappointment to the ears?

Not sure how many of you peeps follow F1, but a lot of the regulations were change for the 2014 year for Formula 1.

New year brings on a new smaller engine [V6 Turbo], 8 speed fixed gearboxe ratios [which have to be selected before the beginning of the season, and those ratios must be used on every track through out that season].

Fuel limit was set to 100kg, which should make things interesting because now drivers have to watch their fuel consumption level because at 100kg of fuel, that's 1/3 less than what they were allowed to fill. In 2013, there was no limit to how much you can fill or how often. Few other changes were made of course, just dont wanna list them all. Here's the full article for anyone interested in it:

Heres a video comparing old and new engine sound..will def. miss the old engine!

It's not letting embed the video for some reason so heres the link:

I am sure these changes are going to bring out a lot more competition and make things more interesting, so that itself will be a good plus. Now drivers must be more calculating than ever before. Should be a pretty interesting season
