If you do go local, which is fine too, just make sure that either you or the coater completely disassemble them for coating. The dust boots on these calipers are far less heat tolerant than any other calipers I have ever seen and they will become brittle if they are coated fully assembled.
If you go with the painting place, that will be fine fully assembled.
