Moving To GA
So my work is transferring me to GA (currently in FL). I’ve done some research and had a few questions.
1. I understand there is state income tax and federal tax (FL only has federal). Is cost of living lower to make up for the additional tax? 2. In FL, when renewing the registration/tag, we only pay a renewal fee. I read that in GA, I have to pay taxes on the vehicle based on its value each year?? 3. I will be going to Cobb County, but I think I read there are also emissions tests? True? 4. Why are there so many taxes in GA? 5. Does anyone know if I can forward mail from one PO Box to another PO Box? I didn’t see this info on the USPS website (I missed it if it is on there).
