Hello hot and humid Tampa Bay! Does anyone know of a shop that would install the RJM clutch pedal that has experience with it? I don't want to take it

Default Tampa Bay (Pinellas) RJM pedal installation

Hello hot and humid Tampa Bay!

Does anyone know of a shop that would install the RJM clutch pedal that has experience with it? I don't want to take it to some generic garage and have to explain it and show him the instructions, etc. I don't want to pay someone to "figure it out".

thanks

Mine is being delivered Thursday. I think the new version is less complicated to install so I'm going to give it a go myself :-)

Yeah I know, that helps, but just the physical location of the install... I'd come out of that footwell hating life for a few months.

I'm going to disconnect the battery and remove the seat. Then blow up an air matress and place it at the door base. Hopefully that will make it more comfortable.

I finished the installation today. It's definitely not a fun job :-). I have some rug burns on my elbow and used a few four letter words. I guess my back will be a bit sore tomorrow as well. The installation took me about 2.5 hours, but I wasn't in a hurry.

As for the clutch pedal, it's definitely an improvement. I'm running with the default settings for now but I think the engagement point needs to be adjusted slightly higher for my comfort.
