So like others I wanted to keep weight down. I used a 3/4 chunk of birch plywood for the plate. The amp is mounted on bracket cut from the same material and bolted to the two 7/16 bolts coming up...

looks like I'm going to end up putting in 2 8's along with 6 1/2's. Raising the deck another 3/4 of a inch you could make them all stealth. Room for the amp under the subs also. Getting everything...
