Glad its just the plate. I think the other guy who had a broken clutch had a Southbend also but it was the disc that fragmented.

Are they sending you a whole new clutch assembly w/ a new flywheel...

My guess is, it's detonation (specially since damage seems to be present on the exhaust side only)....
