I used the set up in the instructions and the HP looks good to 99.9 HPR. Then it goes to 00.0. ANy suggestions?

I tried those codes and it didn't work. I like to keep the car's gauge at distance to empty and would like to see the outside air temp on the scanguage.

Speed Sensor Disconnect for Nav Unit

I've seen a number of posts to cut the speed sensor wire from the rear of the nav unit so it can be operated at speed. 2 questions:
