Scan Gauge II Help

I'm trying to display the Outside Air Temp on the guage. The codes at the website don't work. Does anyone know the correct codes?

Do you mean air intake temps (IATs) rather than outside air temps?

Now I see Ambient Air Temp is a optional code. I don't know why you would want that on the Scangauge though since the 370Z can display it. Should not be hard to add though. Code is 07DF0146 04410546 2808 00090005FFD8 AIR according to the website for CANSF vehicles.

I usually run my Scangauge showing short and long term fuel trims, intake temp and coolant temp. Those are all readings that can't be displayed by the car. Well coolant temp can, but not the actual temp in degrees.

I tried those codes and it didn't work. I like to keep the car's gauge at distance to empty and would like to see the outside air temp on the scanguage.

It's possibly that that particular feature is unavailable on the 370Z through the OBD II port (not supported that is). Not all features are available on every vehicle. Seems crazy though since ambient temp can be accessed through the trip computer.

You also might try reentering the code again just to make sure. All it takes is for one number/letter to be off for it not to take.

You shouldn't have to program anything to get horsepower. Try checking to make sure that the Scangauge is set to CANSF.

Hi Guys,

I have a Nissan 370Z 2009 model, and the scangauge 2 is not seeing the ECU. It keeps saying "connecting". It is in the CANSF mode. Works perfectly on my other vehicle. Any advice?
