Ambient Temp/Fuel Level Pod Went Dark
It went out today for a while then spontaneously came back on. This has happened a few times over the summer. Dealership checked it and wants $1600 to replace the Pod. I suggested maybe just a loose...

Also, incidentally,
when you do replace your battery, go to Radio Shack, not Nissan. Nissan's battery, from the parts department, is way more expensive than the same darned thing from Radio Shack---and the kid at Radio...

I came with a cashier's check and the idiots wouldn't release the car until they called "upstairs" to see if they had to wait until the check "cleared" first. Just not used to people paying that way.
