The 18x9.5 +10 will not clear the sport brakes. The 18x9.5 +35 will. I ran 9.5/10.5 setup with these exact wheels.

Not sure how lower offset will not clear something that higher offset does?
Am I missing something?

The higher offset is flat faced and has no concave. The lower offset face is too concave and will actually hit the caliper near the center of the face. The designs of the wheels playe a large roll in caliper clearance. Lower offset does not necessarily mean more clearance when it comes to concave wheels.
