Pair of USDM door handles
PRICE $70 Local only for now
Long story short, tried to paint my door handles myself, ****** them up, bought new ones and sent those to a pro to get painted. I stripped the paint off of the old ones and put them back on my car. Now I should be getting my painted door handles back this weekend and will be swapping these out. These really aren't in any shape to be added permanently to the car but I see them as a good holdover set for those of you who want to paint their door handles but need a pair of beaters during the down time. They are in perfect working order. The gasket and wire harness are included. Asking $70 for the pair and when you're done with them just sell them to someone else. Like I said these are basically just to tide you over until your stockers are painted. 20130119_192605.jpg20130119_192559.jpg20130119_192521.jpg20130119_192537.jpg20130119_192501.jpg20130119_192420.jpg I just got my door handles back today and they're not matching the car as much as I would like so they're going back to the shop. I will have an update when I'm ready to let these go. Thanks for looking everyone! Last edited by dP3NGU1N; 01-20-2013 at 08:45 PM. |

Pictures are up. However, I just got my door handles back today and they're not matching the car as much as I would like so they're going back to the shop. I will have an update when I'm ready to let these go. Thanks for looking everyone!

Can you elaborate on how you messed them up? I'm considering painting mine, but since it's a DD I'm hesitant. I'm wondering if I could sand yours down and paint them and see how they come out.

I tried to cut costs by doing it myself but from the quote that pro shops gave me you're not saving much by doing it yourself. Pro shops will have no problem with painting your handles. You could certainly try to paint my handles but I think it'd be easier (no prep work necessary) to send in your handles to paint. |
