As the title reads. Swapped out for OS Giken earlier this year. Not sure exactly how many miles are on this one as I purchased it used after I put my car back to stock in 2010. Nothing wrong with it according to the shop that did the swap. If you want to put this in a Z that does not have any LSD at all (base model) then you will need to also buy the longer OEM side shafts from a sport model. Those are sold separately of course. SOLD!

Will that fit a car with open diffs (base model)? Did it come off an automatic transmission or manual? I'm interested.

This diff came out of a 6MT. It will fit open diff model Zs, but I am not 100% sure if there are extra parts needed and what those parts may be.

Maybe someone who knows can chime in.

Parts required for LSD install?

For what it's worth I tried asking around (thread above). I think it'd be a direct swap but some people say you need extra parts. Idk of anyone that's done the base to sport VLSD upgrade.

Thanks!

Looks like the answer then is you will need to get the longer side shafts from Nissan that come on the sport models to make it work.

I will take this. If it is a direct bolt in for the stock one I will buy it for a spare.
PM me if you still have it.
