Default AAM Stage 2 short block 9:1 on ebay starting bid $100

Hey guys been a long time since I've been on the forum but I have since sold my 370Z and still have a brand new AAM stage 2 9:1 compression short block sitting. I need money towards my other projects and have since put it on ebay. (I am not sure if I can sell this as a link on another site, so if not please delete admin and I'm sorry in advance admins)

Starting bid is set at $100 so I know someone is about to get a hell of a deal.

Was told to put a Buy it now Price: $2500 plus shipping (Around $600 - When it shipped to me in Korea it costs $600)

Cheers

So are you selling shoes or earbuds? That’s where the link is taking me.

Forum rules state that you need to provide a sale price. If you link an eBay auction, it must have a Buy It Now price listed.

I'm guessing it would probably be ok for you to provide a price on the forum and if someone agrees to buy it then take down the eBay Auction immediately. But the policy is there to avoid the issues that come with multiple bids arriving at the same time.

Usually these things get decked, the image looks like there is head gasket residue... as if it was previously installed. Someone correct me here? I was just going to start pricing a bottom end forged setup for TT on the 370z nismo, this is essentially what I am looking for.

Yea I would agree based on the pictures in the link above. This doesn't appear to be brand new as there is residue all over the casing of the engine and where the heads would mount.

This has never been installed by me at any point after I received it. When I took the pictures it was the first time I took off the plastic wrap on it as well so seeing the residue is the first for me as well.

A couple questions here, just for the sake of those interested in purchasing.

1)Do you have receipts for this purchase?
2)When you received this, did you not think it weird that residue was all over not only the casting but the heads mating surface as well? If you did, you didn’t happen to contact AAM did you?

The Op did send me receipts for it, name and everything checks out. Was just curious about the residue.

I didn't even look at the short block until maybe 3 days ago when I took off the plastic wrap to take pictures to sell. I bought it knowing that I was going to do a big swap to the car not just the engine but axels and drivetrain etc... but life hit me with a F**k you stick and had to use money on family ****. So yah if I was going to install it right away yes I would of called AAM out on it bus sadly it is what it is. At this point of sale I don't think anyone would just buy it and slap it on without going through it as well.
