Nismo Finned Differential Cover

I'm looking to purchase the finned Nismo differential Cover. Best pricing I've found is $125-130 shipped. What you got? Not interested in the high capacity Z1 finned cover so don't

Not interested in the high capacity Z1 finned cover so don't bother.

Two questions (asking for myself):
1: how do you know when you need the extra cooling
2: what's wrong with z1's

1: that's a good question that I'd like the answer to as well.
2: a man should make a stand at least once in his life, and i guess JAR is making that stand against Z1 Motorsports.

1. Adding cooling above and beyond the stock cooling is always a good thing in this car.

2. While I do have an issue with Z1, my reasoning for not wanting their cover is unrelated. One reason is I did not feel the need for extra capacity since I picked up the Wavetrac diff, which does not heat up as much as clutch-type diffs, such as an OS Giken. The other reason is the fins require more trimming on the Z1 cover vs the Nismo cover.

Yeah, those fins are ...aggressive. What would you have to trim and why?

The fins need trimming to fit the Fast Intentions exhaust.

If the high capacity cover is overkill, then I definitely don't need a diff cooler. But that is a conversation for another thread. Although a diff cooler would solve a number of issues lol

Got a line on a brand new cover locally. So thread is on hold for now. Feel free to PM me.
