Fast Intentions Non-resonated X-pipe
Hey All - I bought the FI catback system a little over a year ago and have LOVED it. A little while back, I ended up putting on Berk HFCs to go along with it and also loved it, but after the Berk HFCs the non-resonated x-pipe was allowing a little too much drone for canyon drives (and I have a high tolerance to drone). Without HFCs. the non-resonated system was fantastic! Even still quiet, IMHO. I've since put on FI's resonated x-pipe (18 inchers) to quiet some of the drone that resulted from pairing the exhaust with the HFCs and it's much more tolerable now. So, I'm selling my non-resonated x-pipe. It will bolt right into the FI catback system.
It was on the car for about a year. The car is basically a garage queen (for now) that only sees nice weather though, so it only had about 3k miles on it in that period and is in PERFECT condition aside from slight bronzing in color just due to being an exhaust pipe and being subjected to hot exhaust. Absolutely NO rust. I have the hardware (but do NOT have gaskets) that I can include if the buyer wants me to. SOLD Last edited by swimster144; 04-24-2015 at 04:13 PM. Reason: Sold |

Edited the first post and it looks like that post now needs MOD approval before being reshown... (Guessing these forums have the user's first 5 posts require MOD approval) Will be back up soon, hopefully. But for those viewing the thread now, asking $285 shipped, OBO. Near perfect condition. Slightly bronzed in color just due to being an exhaust pipe. Was on car for only about 3,000 miles. Car is never driven in inclement weather.

Hmm, I could have sworn they called it a y-pipe when I had bought the system, but agreed that it's form was an x-pipe. Just checked their site and they do indeed call it an x-pipe now, regardless of whether they used to call it a y before or not. I'll change the thread title when I get access back to the original post. Thanks for bringing it up.

This is exactly what I was looking for.. I have LTH and 12 inch resonators, which are quieter than when I had test pipes and the stillen cbe, I'm just deciding if I can deal with the rasp.
