Default If you are tall….you won't fit in the C7

So I went to the DC auto show today, to kill a cold winter day and see new cars. They have the new C7 at the show, actually a few of them, so I stood in line and hopped in when it was my turn. I'm 6'4" and 220, not fat. Sitting in the C7 my sightline was dead even with the top of the windshield. This was with the targa top removed. The back of my head was hitting the backside of the roof line targa. I tried to lower the seat more, and it would not go down any farther. So it does not fit tall guys, and no way with a helmet. I then sat in the Viper, same thing but a bit better. You really have to fold yourself to get in and out of the Viper. Me no fit. Granted the Viper is out of my price range, but the C7 is not. The Nismo fit me much better. The new M4 was nice but 67K. It was a pretty good cockpit and I fit in it pretty well. The new Mustang was there, it really does look much better in person but you were not allowed to sit in it.

Good to know.. I'm 6'0 though, so I think I'll be ok. C7 will be in my garage one day..

I say under 6' and you should fit, but wearing a helmet would be very tight.

I can't wait until the new C7 Z06 comes out. Hopefully the market will flood with the better looking, used C6 Z06's and I can get one on the cheap (for a Vette).

Glad I'm not tall though. 5'7" - I tend to fit in any vehicle.
