Some more 911 Carrera S pics (High Res)
Finally got around to having a small photo shoot of my car a couple days ago. I hope you guys enjoy the pics!
Click on photos to enlarge The more I drive this thing the more I love it. I finally drove it real hard (break in period and all..) and MAN this thing is fun. I LOVEEEEE having the engine in the back. There is what seems like an infinite amount of grip when exiting a corner. I have not approached the exit speed limit in the slightest. Going around S turns is such a blast too (911's don't like S turns) as I got to test out how physics does not like where the engine is placed. In our Z's you can feel some oversteer at times due to a lack of grip, whereas the 911 will oversteer because of an excess of weight in the back (ya ya and also lack of grip, but bear with me). Its an entirely different feeling from one another. In the Z you feel like your back end is sliding out, while in the 911 it feels like someone tied a rope to the bumper and is pulling on it. Exhilarating feeling. This is what all those 911 purists rave about. If the cayman was offered with a 3.8L like the 911 S, and had all similar specs and price, I would STILL get the 911. Its that addicting. When people say the engine is in the wrong place, I just laugh on the inside. I just wish I had ordered it with the Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE). Why did I not get what seems like such an obvious option to get? I was tricked! I was under the assumption that when the PSE is switched off, it is the same as the stock exhaust, however that is only the case under 3K RPMs. So all the videos I heard rev'ed the engine above 3K in both on/off modes, which made the exact same sound (almost)! So the PSE is first on my list for mods. Other mods will include an awesome cf rear diffuser, a GT3 wing (if it will fit, still waiting to hear back on that), and an Areokit front bumper by Porsche. But that will probably be next year.. The attention I get is not that noticeable as the 911 is relatively subtle, but I feel like the little attention I do get is negative. Wheras if I'm driving the Z people will comment and say "Nice car!" or give me a thumbs up if they're in another sports car like an FRS, BRZ, even a Mustang. When I'm in the 911 or filling her up, I often feel like the glances I'm getting are negative. Its hard to explain, heck it may just be in my head. But what I know for sure, the attention I get in the Z is more positive than the attention I get in my 911.. Anything you guys want to know about the car or thing you want me to comment on?

Rosh, Thanks for sharing. I considered getting a 911 before purchasing my Z, but on this tiny island where I live, I just couldn't justify it. I can barely stretch the Z's legs. So I'll live vicariously through you.

Lovin' your ride man!!! I think it's awesome... Keep living the DREAM,
I like the Carrera S written on the bottom of the door. It's a throwback to 80's/early 90's style

Such a sexy car. I absolutely love the new 911's. People are just jealous of you, man. It's not that big of a deal with the 370Z since it's still below 40k. But the 911 is a couple classes above that.
