So is this replacing the 1 series or something? Or are they going to squeeze another coupe in between the 1 and 3 series? Realistically wouldn't they need to move

So is this replacing the 1 series or something? Or are they going to squeeze another coupe in between the 1 and 3 series? Realistically wouldn't they need to move the 1 down or the 3 up? I haven't looked at the prices recently, but I thought the 1 and 3 series weren't hugely different pricewise?
EDIT: The coupes start at $31.2k and $38.7k...so I guess there is room, but not really..meh
