Right, it's $47k before the $25k "market adjustment" that the dealers tack on.

For 2016 they should make enough that won't happen.

The only car I ever saw from Ford that NEVER dropped the adjustment was the FGT, and we were selling them for $100K over sticker when they first hit.

I want to drive one. Pretty badly.

However, a market adjustment that takes it into GT-R territory will solve all of my dilemmas for me - I'll just buy a GT-R.

I already have a dealer that will sell to me at MSRP.

I don't think markups will be too crazy. Lots of people on the GT350 forums already have deals lined up with no markup.

DING! Winner For going fast there are always lots of options. Never pay more than sticker...ever. Especially for a car that FO SHO will depreciate.

You can find dealers that won't mark them up.....You will pay MSRP, but so what? The Z/28 is 76K new and the GTR is overpriced compared to the GT350. A used 997.1 GT3 is till over 80K as well. A used GT3 997.2 is over 110K. If it performs they way it should, this will be the bargin performer for quite a while. Ford would do well to sell as many an they can.

You can tart up a GT Mustang to close to 46K if you really try with options. So getting all of the GT350 for 47K and change is a no-brainer. Looking at the build sheet I would add in the tech option that gives you a few more goodies which I think is about 3 or 4K. But a stripper GT350 with no options is a true bargain. GM is seriously going to have to cut the price of the next Z/28 to match this. No way they can keep it at 76K. What a great time for cars we have. In 86 I graduated from college and remember that the GT Mustang that I lusted for back then had all of 185HP.....which was still hard to find....so I got a new Toyota Celica GT hatchback....that had all of 135 HP.
