I like it because its out, but I am also out as to getting a new one...
Not sure anymore, was hoping it be about 5,000 less.

What’s 5k but really when it’s all said and done don’t let 5k get in the way of something you want especially since your present ride has gone up 5k in value, just saying.

seems to fit into a sweet spot in the market.

it's no where near the bargain that the 370z sport model was at 35k CAD. It destroyed the brz and miata in the value department at that price.

For me…. I add the price of my ‘16 NISMO tech 370Z, and add what I’d ultimately end up doing, a Stage 2 (or 2.5) Fast Intentions TT kit, plus all supporting mods, I’ll be in about $25k. That’s the same or more than a brand new Performance Z, and that’s before I upgrade the 370’s rear diff…. And FWIW on the digital display. To me, if you I haven’t already sunk in a ton of money but are close to doing it the new Z isn’t a bad bargain…. Depends what you want. Some love the NISMO 370Z looks better. Some can go either way but love the idea kfnanTT setup with factory warranty knowing the aftermarket support is 1 AMS and Ecutek tune away from something incredibly fast.

but this new z is not a nismo.
it can best be compared to the 370z sport touring model.
the nismo 370z was hilariously overpriced so it's not really a fair comparison imo.

the new base z is over 6k more than the sport 370z, no synchro rev match, no lsd, no larger brakes. better infotainment (who cares it's a drivers car!)

an amazing condition sport 370z can be had for 23k, + 25k in mods and you're still less expensive than the new performance Z, but with a way better car.

I think you missed the first 2 words of my previous post "for me...." aka Comparing to my specific situation, not as a whole brotha.
