The only things that he mentions that concern me since mine will be a daily driver is the dead feel of the electric steering and rear end lift on the base model.

I don’t track my cars, and rarely get it sideways, it’s not a deal breaker but I will admit to being concerned about the electric steering.

I think the only thing negative that really might effect me is that it won’t let you do a burnout. Again, not a deal breaker, but it does make me wonder how many other nanny’s are built in.

Dead steering and power killing nannies are a deal breaker for me. Plus they are basically requiring you to buy the Performance trim to have a safer car at speed.
Jason even said one of the guys he was working with who has never wrecked a car almost spun out in the Z just trying to turn onto the race track. (He was on a public road and was turning to get onto the race track, he wasn't even pushing it yet.)

My next Sports car will either be a 6MT Supra or a C7 GS I think.
It'll be nice to see the new Z on the road of course.

That's a shame to hear. Savagegeese put the EPS in a good light, but I was skeptical Nissan could make EPS with near as much feedback as a standard hydraulic unit. I find in my dailies, as long as I can get music from my phone playing, most of what I care about in my backroads commute is steering and suspension feel.
