Default Strange noise from front passenger side wheel

I recently bought a 2009 model 370 and noticed that if my wheels are turned completely to the left and I pull off there is a sound like I am dragging something. once I straighten out it goes away. haven't noticed it when going to the right. Is the tire just rubbing wheel well or is it something else? I've been trying to gather info on potential problems. And it seems like there is a lot. csc failure, steering lock failure, trunk release problems(which I have noticed on mine by the way, but doesn't really bother me) Also where I get it back in the garage and turn it off there is a constant ticking or popping sound for a few minutes or so. Is this something to worry about?

That's what I figured. Is there something I should do to fix it? Or is it not much to worry about?

It's normal for cars with wide tires. Cold makes it worse, especially with the softer compounds that most ppl put on sports cars.

It's possible that it's an alignment problem - check your tires often for uneven wear. If you haven't had your alignment checked lately, it might ease your mind to get your favorite shop to run a quick check. If the wear looks even, I wouldn't worry about it.

Good to know thank you. My cousin said she was having the same problem with her g37. I'll pass it along. Also I had sent Nissan a email concerning recalls and they said my steering lock had been repaired in December . So that's good. I don't know which version it is though. I'll have to find out

If you have stock wheels and suspension, tire rub seems like a very odd culprit. If those have been modified, it's the first place I'd start.

The steering lock will be Rev D (though people on the forum have experienced Rev D failing even prior to the recall). Pull the fuse or cut the brown wire asap, so you don't get stranded somewhere. Search for DIY here on the forum.

The popping and ticking noises you hear are normal.
