Paint issue

I know that the soft paint on the 370Z is a well known issue but I think I might have a defect of a different sort. When I look closely at the my paint under indirect light I see what appear to be discrete specks under the clear coat. It appears almost as if dust was encapsulated between the base color and the top clear coat layer. These specks appear over almost the entire car. When I first noticed this potential defect I thought it might be a surface issue and attempted to remove the specks via a surface polish. This did nothing to ameliorate the effect.

Have any of you noticed similar specks in the finish of your paint. Is this a true defect or am I just being anal-retentive? If this is a defect, should I try to get a repaint from my dealer under warranty?
