Default 30k 370z Maintenance... in Abu Dhabi...

Hi all,

I have about 34k miles on my Sport/Touring 2009 370z. I'm wondering what services you all recommend since the last 5000 miles have been in the heat (120 degree days) and the desert (i.e., there's a lot of sand kicked up).

I'm thinking:
-replace oil
-replace air and in cabin filters
-balance tires (mine are apparently non-rotation 19" tires)

I'm wondering if I should:
-replace spark plugs
-replace any fluids (brake, trans, etc)

Also, most importantly of all, does anyone know of a good mechanic who is trusted and reasonably priced in Abu Dhabi / Musaffah / Dubai?

daisi

Balance tires is a waste of money...

Go brake fluid flush with GTR fluid or something similar
I'd do power steering too

Maybe you want to do a transmission fluid flush if you have a manual

And MAYBE a rear differential fluid change

(120 degree days) First thing that comes to mind is radiator flush keep the cooling system up to par.

I have to disagree... Coolant gets to 190 anyways... And it's designed to last 90k+ miles, so I doubt 100+ degree days really degrading it

I DO hope the OP has an oil cooler though!

Yes, I have an oil coolant system. Thanks for checking :-) Works pretty well...

Looks like my list is:

Replace oil, filters
Flush trans, brakes, power steering

We'll see what they charge over here for all of that...

Still wondering who my mechanic will be... perhaps I'll post separately about that...

Just check your manual as well for maintenance lists, and you can do most of it yourself like the oil change and filter.
