Tranny fluid change on 6MT?

I just changed my transmission fluid, wanted to change over to redline mt-85. I have read a bunch of different reports on how much fluid should be in the transmission.

Default Tranny fluid change on 6MT?

I just changed my transmission fluid, wanted to change over to redline mt-85. I have read a bunch of different reports on how much fluid should be in the transmission. Service manual says 2.8 pints which is like 1.5 quarts... I read to put it in until it comes out of the fill hole, but 3 quarts later its still not coming out.

What is the final say on this? How is the service manual this wrong?

I just checked my service manual and it says the transmission uses 6pts, or 2.83 liters, which is roughly 3quarts.

Yup, I remember using about 3L when I changed mine.

Has anyone used heavy shockproof in these tranny yet? Any results? I'm thinking of switching since I'll be doing summer only driving

Guess I need to buy another quart then...

Anyone know the cheapest place to get redline mt-85 that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for shipping (since all I need is one quart)
