Question 370z turns over but won't start

Yesterday I was heading from home and my car stalled out, I tried to start it but nothing. It will turn over (until the battery dies) but its not starting.

I have a 370z touring with a intake and exhaust added.

What we tried:

Checked all the fuses.
Tried the key thing we say online.
Its getting good air flow so I know its not the intakes.

To me it sounds like its not getting gas to the engine, but I'm not a mechanic!

Any thoughts to what it could be?

Thanks for in advanced for any advice!!!

Jason

Check the emergency fuel cutoff switch. It is in the manual. It will deactivate the fuel flow (pump) if the vehicle was in an accident. I have seen it go off on large bumps...

And try some starter fluid just to see if it fires! That will tell you if it is fuel or electric

I would verify there is fuel in the tank and that a bad gas gauge isn't the culprit.

If that checks out? I might suggest towing it the closest dealer so they can diagnose it and fix it.

If its fuel related? this problem is not for someone with little to no mechanical skills. IMO

Good Luck

Thanks for the information guys!!

Could anyone tell me were the fuel cutoff switch is on the Z? I looked in the manual and could not find it in there.

I'm going to check that first then move to the next solutions.

Is the check engine light on? If so, see if you can get the code to point in the right direction.

I only have 1/4 tank at the moment, kind of hard to fill it up right now...lol The check engine light is on but I don't access to get the code right now, I'm trying ideas that I can do now, thats just till I can get my buddy to come with his tools.

I think the cut off switch is a good start so if anyone one knows were its located it would be greatly appreciated! I check the manual but couldn't find, the search continues!

Thanks
Jason

Just looked thru the service manual and apparently there is no emergency fuel cutoff switch on the 370.... sorry. Get a code reader, might be something as simple as a faulty gas cap...

Grab code, reset ECU, fill up with 5 more gallons of gas.

Did you ever resolve this? My Z is doing the same thing.... Its trying to turn over but won't... Just suddenly died at a les schwab... Its not a key issue because iv tried everything, even my spare intelligent key... It seems like the car isn't getting any gas when its trying to start - its at half talk so it shouldn't be because I have no gas... Could this be a fuel pump issue? I've been hearing a humming noise in the rear of the car lately (maybe the fuel pump) it usually does it when the car hits the 'on' position but now its not even making the noise.. Any ideas?

Try to check the voltage on the battery

Have you tried a jump start?
