Default 7 A/T jerking in low gears while in manual mode?

Happens whether downshifting up shifting normally (3rd seems to be the worst). Really doesn't ever happen when it's set to automatic. I have 94k miles... I thought about going to the stealership to get the trans fluid changed but that's got A TON of mixed opinions.

Can’t hurt anything with that mileage, but definitely have it flushed instead of only a drain/fill.
Also may want to remove pan & clean magnets and strainer.
As I would try to find a reputable shop vs a dealership.....as they’re gonna do the bare minimum.

Man and that's the thing.... After reading the forums I don't know what the hell to do. People say just do drain and fill because a flush will knock all that gunk around and i'll end up having more issues than I originally did to start with. And then some people say it's fine to do it. I'm conflicted lol

Do it & flush everything....it’s a hydraulic system.
Did mine first time at 50k & it looked like coffee, then I did a drain/fill every 10k afterwards and shifted perfectly
Sometimes when you waits & have issues, it doesn’t always help, but certainly won’t hurt.
JARblue and Zingston like this.
