Default Please Help! Passenger window--

I have a 2012 Nissan 370z base, 55k miles, I don't drive it a ton. But anyway, I've seen a couple articles on this with no answers. So my car has done this a few times before, but sorta fixed itself once i pushed the window back in.
On my passenger window over the past few years i've noticed the auto seal feature kind of malfunctioning and the window i guess doesn't roll down a bit when the passenger opens the door, then when they close it the window catches the frame and the door won't close again unless u physically push in on the top of the window and align back in the seal. Usually when this happens the window switches for this window/the window itself won't roll up or down until you re-align it, then the window starts working again.

However, about a week ago this happened and now the window will not function at all. Ive also noticed that now the electronic window switch on the passenger door doesn't have any light, like its not receiving power. (im not sure if that switch usually lights up orange like on the driver side door) So the window is stuck all the way up and each time someone gets in my passenger seat i have to walk around and push the window inward and close the door physically lol. Is my window motor toasted? and would that cause the electronic switch to lose the light as well?? Im just worried one day im gonna bust the window -- plus its a total inconvenience. Would rather not go to the dealership and spend hundreds of dollars... any help really appreciated

If you can use basic hand tools and a volt meter, the FSM (link in my sig) has troubleshooting and R&R procedures.

Have you tried to reset your window(s)? Hold the window switch up for 30 seconds and the down for 30 seconds. That will reset the auto close. You may also find you need to do this when you disconnect the battery. Not sure it will fix your issue but worth a try.

Thanks for replying. In my situation I never had the battery unhooked. I had opened the passenger door and the window came down like it’s supposed to when opening the door, when I closed the door I noticed the window did not come back up. I tried raising and lowering it with the window button with both passenger and driver buttons. Even Checked the window lock button. Tried lowering both windows with the unlock button On the fob which only lowered the driver side. I did notice that the button lights don’t work anymore on the passenger window button either. I checked all the fuses under the hood and in the driver footwell also. Yes I also did the window reset which only worked on the driver window. I thought it might be the window motor but the light in the button made me think it may be something else.

You may have a bad switch, not sure how you would check that other then replacing it.
