Default Cars been sitting. Bad heater core and fuel problem?

I picked up mu '09 Z last month and so far its developed 2 problems, both it sounds like from sitting. It was a bank repo and has had single digit miles put on it since May and from Jan 2014 it only has had 7000 Miles.

First problem is filling up with gas. I read all about the Z problems with the fuel sending unit, fuel starvation and the gauge. Mine isnt related to that. I cant fill up my tank with gas without the pump shutting off every half gallon. I tired different pumps, different angles, etc....it the car. Anytime the gas sits, you can unscrew the gas cap and it will release pressure, literally blow out 'Air'(gas fumes) from the tank. I can hold the gas nozzle far from the inlet and if you go to fast i can see the fuel slowly gurgling down. I'm under the assumption this is either the charcoal canister or CVC valve. I assume the valve isnt letting the tank breath. It seems like an easy fix but before i buy it, i figured id ask.

Next problem i found out yesterday. I live in FL where its hot. I realized my driver side floor mat was wet. After some googling, im not sure if the problem is the heater core or a heater hose being clogged in which case ill just pick up the Z1 kit and replace them.

Thanks

The water on your floor mat does it look or smell like antifreeze/coolant? If not it is probably condensation from your AC (clogged condensation drain) or rain leaking in. When the heater core went bad in my Mustang 20 years ago, the air coming out of the vents smelled like antifreeze and when the engine was hot the air was almost steamy.

I talked to a buddy and he says it doesnt sound like an issue with the heater core since the heat and AC work as they should. Also, its defiantly water. its not coolant since it doesnt smell or dry like it and my coolant level hasnt changed.
