Default Project list...

Ok - got my GT Sound control and couldn't wait...so ripped out the trunk and lined the entire thing. Have not done the trunk lid as I ran out. So I need to order more for the trunk lid, doors and probably the inside of the wheel wells behind the liner above the rear wheels. We'll see tomorrow if it makes any difference.

I bought mine fully loaded to avoid a huge mod list.

Mods so far:

GT sound control
Z front and rear emblem in black (no more hamburger)
LEDs on all lights
Illuminated Kick plates

To Come:

15mm spacers all around ( want H&R but my guy says they don't make them for the Z?? They start at 20mm)
Tinted tails and headlights
Tinted windows
Thinking of the Nismo S-Tune rear spats to balance out the rear

That's it...

H&R makes 5-15 spacers but they are the stud replacement type. 20mm is the smallest bolt on spacer you can get that still works with the stock rims.

I have 20 front and rear on mine cause I didn't want to mess with longer studs. Kind of wish I went 25 in the rear now, but it still looks better than stock when lowered.

And how did the GT sound control work out?

Honestly - not as well as I had hoped. I have used Dynamat and BQuiet before...and they seemed to work better. I also in the past - even in my Infiniti's - ripped out most of the interior as well as door panels. I don't think I'll be doing these door panels - it's a roadster!

I have not done the wheel wells yet. And we all know that is where a majority of the road noise comes from.

I'm 99% certain I'll be 100% happy once I switch out the Bridgestones. SO many threads on tires - so I guess the PSS or PSA are the way to go.

Can I just say - I seriously friggin love this car. Car #49 and I think it's almost my fav of all of them. Not perfect - but then who or what is?

Ok. I'm in the process of installing Dynamat in the trunk and maybe the wheel weels as well, if there is enough.
Mostly i want to dampen the sound of my FI exhaust when you're driving. Sounds perfect outside, but can be annoying when driving for a longer time.

Have only done the trunk lid atm, but you could here a small difference already. Hopefully the ride will be more pleasant when I'm done.

I got my 370Z, not long ago. I did sport a S2000 for sometime and missed it. At first, I thought the Z was just louder than the S2K due to design. However, then realized about the sound deading when I saw this.

I am now, reminded of the Dynamat that I had in the trunk, and will now, need to get some!

Thanks
