No Rear Badge
Greetings All. First poster here. I recently purchased a 2010 370Z roadster. As I was putting it away for a Montana winter I noticed that it did not have a rear 370Z badge. The pictures I've seen show a Nissan badge in the center rear and a 370Z badge on the port side. Looking at the car it appears to be original body parts with no sign of repairs. Any ideas out there on why mine doesn't have a badge? Thanks.

Thanks. I always liked a single badge. My 73 240z has one "240Z" on the rear deck lid. The only other exterior "Z" marking is on the round vent covers on either side of the fastback. I may look for a 370Z rear badge.

The previous owner of my NISMO removed the 370Z and NISMO badging, leaving only the Nissan emblem on the back. Given the choice, I would have left the badges on, but it does look very clean without them.
But CarMax was nice enough to put one of their decals on . . . . . . I took that off earlier this spring.

Or instead of the 370Z badge you could get the Japanese domestic market Fairlady Z badge. (One of many sources.)
Or this Z replacement for the Nissan hamburgers, and leave the 370Z badge off.

I agree. Especially with the 370Z removed from the rear. I have not done this yet, though it's on the list.
From what I've read here, when you remove the Nissan hamburgers you'll have two little dimples that are where the Nissan burger went. You should probably get the ones with a black background and paint the backgrounds Black Cherry. On such a dark color the dimples might not be noticeable, but you'd know and that would really itch.

I replaced my front and rear chrome Nissan burgers with black Z burgers. Bought the black 370Z badge but now I'm not sure I want it on, so it may stay in a box. The black looks cool on the pearl white.
