They usually have 0% financing sometime in Spring if that's useful to you. Winter would be a good time to buy one from a dealer in the north as the demand will be low. If you're patient, you might find a dealer with a bunch of old models still on the lot late in the year. They will likely be ready to dump them and be a lot more flexible in financial negotiations.

i usually buy my cars in august at end of model year... and shop around for available stock at the dealers.

those you get the best deals. i got my z at invoice. my other cars only like $100-150 over invoice.

Talk to Joe Clem at Koeppel Nissan in NY, they can get you a great price on a Z, they're also a supporting vendor.

Remember you can even barter dealership fees and pricing, also if you purchase now you get 1000 cash back (must be purchased by 5/26) and 0% financing for 60 months.

Also another thing to note the 2015 Nismo Z comes out this July, if you can wait and want a Nismo the '14 models will sell for STEEP discounts!

Find a dealership with a good number of '14 Nismos in June/July. Beat them up for deep discounts or incentives.

End or just after end of model year. If you live in a region that routinely sees harsh winters, it's probably easier to strike a sweet deal on a RWD sports car than it would be in the summer.

Invest in the Black Book for a clearer indication of the car's value vs. invoice or MSPR pricing, and bring it with you when negotiating to undercut any and all arguments they will make about why you are expecting too much for too little.

If you don't arrive at a workable price, walk out. It is extremely likely they will call you back.

Or, skip all that, and see if you can find a private seller with a late model, well maintained, low mileage car.
