Default Selling Nismo ??'s

Hey fellows I hope all is well. It has been a while since I have posted on the forums. Any ways I been considering selling my 2010 Nismo. I just dont have the time to drive it that much anymore and at my house there is no where to keep it garaged so I am paying for storage each month. It is a super nice car and needs to be driven.

I have a few questions concerning the sell. First should I remove all of the aftermarket performance parts and convert it back to stock, or sell as is? Also what would be a fair asking price for this car stock or with my mods.

2010 370z Red Nismo. Less than 7,000 miles. Every part of this car is stock except for the following: Fast Intentions long tube headers, Fast intentions stainless steel cat back exhaust with 18" resonators, K&N typhoon intake system, Motordyne intake manifold, NST pulleys, and this car has been tuned with uprev softwear (Orisis). I do have all of the original parts to put this car back to stock. The stock tune was saved and can be turned back using the cruise control settings. Car has always been garage kept, and is in like new condition.

Thanks in advance for you comments and help.

It sounds nice. Best of luck with the sale.

Selling a red Nismo is againts the law just kidding!
I think that a red Nismo is a collector's item, it's something you wanna keep and pass it within the family. For your question OP, to maximize the resale value is to put it back to stock and sell all of your mods to the community.

Karotz is right all the extras won't get much more money but will narrow the market of buyers.

Thanks for your responses. I figured that converting it back to stock would be the best selling option. I just dont feel like messing with those headers to be honest. The other mods are not that bad. Would like to get around 31k for it. Thinking I should ask 32.5k to give myself some negotiating room. Is this in the ball park?

Like said go back to stock.

You can get $1000 prob for the headers. For 4-5 hours I'd think its worth it!

From a sellers point of view, part it out... from a buyer point of view, sell as is!

All depends on who is searching for a car. If I were to buy a used nismo, I would look for one that already has some of the basic modifications (exhaust ect) already done

just letting you know, while searching for my Nismo, I bought a 2012 with 6500 miles on it for 30k out the door..Also here in Texas you can buy 2012, 2013 for $31,$32.....i suggest go to carguru.com and get a good price or you may not be able to sell it...

That was kinda what I was thinking, but when my local dealership offered me 29k for a straight up sale I figured that I could get a few bucks more on a private seller deal. They offered me 32k on a GT-R trade. Although it was on the blue color gtr they had in stock. Nope dont want that one!
