What is it worth?
I'm looking at a 2011 Touring Z with sport package and manual. It also has the rear camera and lighted door seal, pretty much all options except Nav. Does not appear to have any mods. It has 18k miles and 2 previous owners. It was originally titled 4/12, so factory warranty is good for awhile. Tires have been replaced and in good shape. Overall very good condition, Pearl white with Persimmon interior.
I've been watching pricing on the Z for a few months as it has been dropping. The dealer is asking $29.9. For that, I think it should also have the nav package. Am I out of line for thinking a fair price is more like $27k? |

Silly Rabbit
I just traded in a 2011 Sport with auto with 14,000 miles. I bought it in 8/12 They gave me $25,300 and I'm pretty sure that if you walked into the dealership and offered them $26,500 they would jump at it since they priced it at $30,995 and it has sat there, then they reduced it to $29,999 and it sat there. They told me that if they sent it to auction they would get $25,000 for it. HOpe that helps. Given you can purchase a brand new 2014 for around 30K, that price might be a little high. trackster22 |

kBB tells me I should be happy to give $31k for it, but right on this forum I've seen the same car with half the miles plus the nav package posted for $28K and sit for months without selling, so I use KBB and NADA for an idea, but I'm not writing a check based on their opinion.

Is 29.9 OTD?
I bought mine used, same year, model and Mileage!! I paid $26.4 + TTL. Which came out to be right around $28.4K give or take. I paid a little too much for a used. I would personally buy a Z from a private party if I could go back in time. A lot of people sell the 40th or a nice 2012 for around $25-26K or possibly much cheaper if you find the right seller. I would not pay anything over $27.5K. |

I got all set up with my bank and called the dealer back the next day and found out they sold the Z the night before. Oh well. I made a deal for a Pearl White '12 with only 3k miles. Has sport, tour and NAV. A few more pennies, but practically brand new with all options for under $31k out the door.

Sweet.
From your original post, 26-27k was reasonable for the car you were looking at. There was a black sport 12 370z with like 15k miles here that came up after I bought mine for 28k. |

As a datapoint, I traded my 2012 370Z for a 2010 Grand Jeep Cherokee 5.7 Limited 4x4 2 weeks ago.
My 370Z: -35.5K miles -Sport/Touring/Nav/Manual -Tires shot to ****, as in, white cords HANGING off of one where it wore un-evenly (I aligned it twice, that car just wouldn't hold alignment. Maybe see below?) -2 Carfax accident reports (no structural damage, and no, neither were my fault) The Jeep: -Clean Carfax -Tires 1/32 off the wear-bar -69.9K miles The asking for the Jeep was $22.4K. I got it for $21.2K. I was given $25.5K for my 370Z trade-in. |
