I would say 32000-32500 should be the range. I know the range hovers around 31000-31500 for the manual.

I'm curious if the dealers will be less likely to sell that far under msrp like they used to since the price dropped so much. They may use that excuse to not go so far under.

Also, if you're interested, I am selling a 6 month old Pioneer AVH4300DVD in excellent condition.

Let me know the price you end up getting. I'm getting the same minus the sport option. Changing my wheels the first week I get the car.

Don't be dumb, get the sport option. Unless you're swapping out your brakes and your LSD as well. And, as of yet, still no way to get SRM on base model.

Several grand below MSRP.

Tell them you know about Nissan's 3% holdback.

Get a copy of the Black Book (auction values) to make 'em sweat.

It is impossible for them to NOT make a profit, and if nothing else they are moving inventory. Play hardball. Do not be afraid to storm out. Even the best cars are heaps of depreciating junk -- if you don't feel good about the deal, walk.

They'll call you back in a day with a nicer deal anyway...

Ok guys, so i sent an email offering for a base+auto for 29K drive out haha i knew it wasn't gonna happen anyways, just wanted to see what the response was:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
this was the response I got :

Just FYI, hold back is around 2.5% and that’s what keeps the lights on.

MSRP on a base model 2014 370Z auto is going to be $32,525.00 with an invoice of $30,754.00. We will be willing to sell it for $200.00 over invoice plus tax, title and license. The price you are suggesting to be drive out ($29,000.00) would be selling the 370Z for around $27,000.00 as a sale price which as you can see is $3,754.00 behind invoice. Even after $850.00 hold back would be a $2,904.00 net loser. I don’t believe you will find anyone in the country willing to take that kind of loss on a 2014 model. If you are willing to be more realistic in your thinking, I will be more than happy to try to work with you on your purchase.

Thank you for giving us an opportunity to earn your business!

Have a great day!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

anyone have any opinions here?

also, if you have any advice on how to haggle the price lower let us know =)

we gladly appreciate it.

Is that with the sport option? I think I may be leaning towards getting sport. As one poster so eloquently stated earlier in the thread, it is a reasonable price for what you get.

no you would have to include the invoice price of the sport option.

Sticker for the AT with Sport (Base):

Version $31,290
370Z® Coupe 370Z®
-
Transmission Included
7-speed automatic transmission with Downshift Rev Matching
Packages $3,030
Sport Package $3,030
Accessories -
Destination and Handling $810 (WILL VARY)
Total MSRP* $35,130

With the 2014's just hitting the lots, I really doubt there is much to move other than the hold back's.

They are still trying to move the 2013's (just got one myself), so those are where your deals are going to be.

Hey jhtran13 check out this. Seems like the guy was not being honest about the invoice price. You should email him this link. At the end just write

Sincerely,
