So if opportunity arose where could pay cash, sticker is $46,000, how much would a dealer come down of the price? Thanks

Please don't make 2 threads. This is a VERY active forum, don't worry, we'll see it.
And paying cash doesn't mean SHITE to the dealer, and you can often get a better deal financing and paying it off after a year

This. I would say depending on your location $41,000 to $43,000. Visit plenty of dealers. One will call and give you the deal you want.

I wouldn't pay more than $38K. May I suggest waiting the off-season to purchase one? To most dealers, paying cash does not mean much, they would rather have you do their financing (where the most money is) Right now would be the worst time to get any leg up during the negotiating process. I own the car outright but was able to take advantages of huge discounts because I bought it off-season. Just my 2 cents.

2.5 years ago I was looking at the Nismos and several dealers were willing to sell them for $38k. I wouldn't pay more than $39k for it. Play their games with them. Make several calls and speak directly to the finance manager and tell him you're looking for his best deal on a new Nismo and let him call you back after he throws down some numbers and continue contacting other dealers.
Eventually you WILL get a couple dealers to call you back with the price you want. Some dealers will also give you ZAG pricing and you just need to ask for it.

Yep, I agree with Birdman. When I was searching for mine a few months back, I saw 3 or 4 brand new 2013's under $40k (albeit they were 39,900) and some as high as $47k....same car, same options..lol. Either way, that was the advertised internet price so I'm assuming with a little negotiating, they could be had for $38-39k. Just gotta troll the ads every day. FWIW, all the one's I saw under 40k have been sold.

Best time IMO to buy is between Christmas and New Years. It's the end of the year and the salemen and dealers are hungry and you are offering a fat hamburger. Just be willing to take the leftover models unless you really have to have something silly like DRLs.

I got 0% financing a year ago on my z but i still put down 9k (on top of my trade in). It was just personal preference- had some money saved up and wanted to take a decent chunk out of what I owed.
