Trying to decide between used vs new Nismo
Hello. I’m still in the market for a Nismo and I’ve found two that I’m interested in. The first one is a used 2018 Nismo Tech, MT, with 5k miles for 44k OTD. The other one is a brand new 2019 Nismo Tech, MT for $48900 otd
Let me tell you that I've called every dealer with 2019 Nismo's Tech, MT in and around the L.A. County area, and $48900 is actually the lowest as I've been able to get OTD. Is any of these a good deal in SoCal or should I keep looking? Thanks. Last edited by littlejuanito; 07-27-2018 at 02:43 PM. |

Try Las Vegas and Anderson Nissan in Lake Havasu City, AZ. I have heard that Anderson has made some pretty good deals for people.

Catch 22, 5000 dollar difference
1) 18 5K On it 2) 19 brand new... 3) what is the warranty on the two, is there a difference And then there is the depreciation hit.. Are both the same colors? is one more your favorite then the other? Go for the one you want. I got my 2012 Black Cherry almost 7 years, and I was all about the color... Have fun .......

Warranty wise, the '18 has a little less than 2 years left. If the used one was priced a little lower, say at most 40k otd, I'd definitively choosen that one. I just dont know if a 5k difference is worth it in this particular case. ughhh, decisions, decisions |

I'd take the used as long as the warranties are the same.
If you plan on keeping past the warranty negotiate an extended warranty. You're still going to be saving a few bucks. |

If you can get the same exact thing for 5 grand less, I'd do that. Easy to dismiss when looking at the total, but that's a lot of money. For 5 grand you can buy a pretty nice beater.

Why isn't the used one a " certified " used car ? With only 5k on it, I would think it would be. When it is " certified " that is left over factory & 100k mi. On drive train!
Am I right? Hope this helps more than confuse the process! Good luck |

If you’re gonna keep the car for a long time, go new, if your gonna move on in a couple years, go used to save as much $$ as possible. 5k is not much coin in the long run. 5+ years from now, if you still have the car, you won’t be thinking about that five grand you coulda saved.
This is of course assuming you can comfortably afford either car in the first place and aren’t making an unwise financial decision. |
