Mods generally don't add value to the car when you go to sell it. In fact, many potential buyers will be put off by them. Many people part out before selling because they can get more money back that way. But if you leave the mods on the car when you sell it, don't expect to get back more than 10% of that $6785 number unless you get lucky and find an individual buyer that wants the mods you already have installed and is willing to pay.

If you feel like parting out, I'll take the side blades and the rear fog light LOL..!
But it does suck, you see all of these nice Z's will a LOT of mods but no ones buying them or they're selling them at a lower price than the seller would like. GLWS.

Nice setup! Is it a TOURING or a BASE? There was no TECH package in 2009, so I am guessing a TOURING/SPORT package.
As far as getting value for your car (and installed upgrades), you can't really expect too much of a return. Most buyers are looking for a stock vehicle, while others are looking for one that hasn't been molested. You haven't done much to your car other than aero, so I think you should be relatively safe asking for a bit more than normal for year and mileage. Take a look in the for sale area and you'll see what I mean.

My insurance company just valued my Z today with its Zele Body Kit SPort package 2011 370Z with 50K miles on it for an ACV of $29400 so your hit shouldn't be that bad.
