Decent GTM SC vids? Anyone!?
Hey all haven't been able to find a decent video of a supercharged 370. Anyone have any to share? Every video I have found has been pretty disappointing. I've had 3 turbocharged cars so have been looking into maybe sc to try for a change but so far turbo still seems to give much better results. Thanks

I know what the differences are like I said I've had several turbo cars everyone talks about how amazing the gtm sc kit is at the end of that vid it seems literally no faster than how my car sits with a few bolt ons. Mostly just curious of anyone has vids of their own ride doing a few pulls or something.

Really not aiming for any certain numbers just a quick car like I said earlier I've had 3 turbo cars in the past was looking into it for something different, less heat in the engine bay, and not sure when I plan on building the bottom end. Hoping to find music free decent pulls... That vid was depressing. Thanks though i appreciate it.

Here is another video by GTM of a supercharged nismo. Skip to 1:20 and the rest is what I think you are looking for. If I had a Z I'd go with the SC too
EDIT: removed video because it violated forum rules. If you want to watch the video at your own risk, search "GTM SUPERCHARGED NISSAN 370Z NISMO WITH STOCK EXHAUST" on youtube. Last edited by Eclipz; 12-10-2013 at 12:05 AM. Reason: Removed video because it showed street racing and speeding |

Here are a few vids of mine. One of the vids, I was picking up pulley squeal. That has since gone away. Make sure you wear some good headphones and turn it up. Most of the sounds from the supercharger(s) aren't too loud. Mine don't whine like a Vortech, but it does make a high pitch sound close to a turbo, but not quite, idk how to explain it. The BPV's are clearly audible. Especially when hammering it.

If the new Z is anything good, I may ditch the 370z(lets go Nissan get this thing out already, and not to mention I just spent a grand with Z1 on black friday on parts) if nothing is released by spring, GTM 1.5 SC is going on mine, just hope they get straightened out by then, its a shame to see so many issues with them lately, considering all they have done for the Z community. You run the 1/4 mile at all SS? Just curious. The SC kits seem to be more reliable and easier on the car, not to mention installation seems easier(dunno on the twin kit tho)

The twin kit definitely takes more work than a standard GTM SC kit. For long tubes, it's the only way to go SC'd. The 1.5's and stage 2's are plenty. When I get home next weekend, I hope to get better vids.

The owner of that car in the GTM YouTube video is one of my friend's cars. That video does not do the car justice in person it roars and hisses like a monster.
