The high mileage thread is full of 5k, 10k and 30k mile posts. Who's actually driven their Z to 100,000+ miles? A. What's gone wrong? B. What's gone right? C.

I don't know who owned it but when I was shopping for my Z the local Nissan dealer had one that had 130K+ that they were sending to auction. It was a base that the guy traded in on a Nismo.

I'm at 113,000km right now. Bought it at 80k.
Never had any problems so far until recently hearing a loud clicking/rubbing noise coming from the driver side when im coming to a complete brake. Any ideas what it could be? I still have warranty coverage. |

I'm at 50k also. 2009 and so far driver side airbag (covered under warranty). Had all scheduled maint so far and at purchase bought extended warranty good till 2018 or 100k so i'm in good shape. Not planning on keeping past 100k though, never know though

I'm at about 72k. Bought it with 45k.
So far I've had most of the known issues with it - steering lock, clutch cylinder issue, diff bushings, and people thinking it's a Porsche. They all seemed to happen between 50-65k though. Luckily for me I had all that work done under warranty and it didn't cost me anything. The only mods I have are a Stillen oil cooler and AAM short tails (which I may get rid of soon). I've had no MAJOR mechanical issues. Everything still runs pretty much like the day I bought it. Probably the biggest irritation I've had is the coating on one of my back wheels peeling off. I don't want to spend the money to get it repaired, so I've just been dealing with it for a while now. I'm hoping to keep the miles down over the next two years because I'm going back to school, and after I'm done, I'd love to get it to a track to celebrate.

105 thousand kilometres and still going strong.
No problems except basic wear and tear which gets replaced accordingly. Daily driver and sees heavy track sessions during the dry
