Default Asking again hope brake pedal?

7AT shall I drop to N then handbrake or hold break pedal at stop lights ? I was just holding the brake pedal until I noticed pad marks on my rear rotors.

Currently going into N at approx 2mph then handbrake up.

In any automatic car it's ok to leave it in gear and use only the brake. The handbrake is unnecessary.

The pad marks are nothing to worry about in my opinion.

Thought so. Thank you. Mofos were telling me to stick it N and use handbrake when I posted pics of rear rotors.

Unless you made a hard, panic-type stop, there's no need to go to all that trouble. What miniscule amount of transfer there is will burn off the next time you brake.

We aren't mofos. That was because you got the pad/rotor so hot it was causing the rotor to gllaze... So if youre driving like a looney, handbrake IS better at the lights. You can leave it in "D" though

Aye. Firstly let me correct this scenario quickly. A : I wasn't driving like a looney and B: more importantly you are not a looney and I read more of your posts than you notice. All of which I appreciate.

And I go into N because of my motor mounts... Kinda sucks, but I learned to deal with it.
