I dont see any modern mass produced cars becoming valuable or collectable 30 years down the road. Cars from the mid 80s with low milage and good condition are all cheap / not in demand, and I don't see them getting any more collectable.
Rare small production models from exotic or high end luxury brands would be better off but a 30 year old nissan won't be worth much. Look at the prices for a mid 80s mazda rx7, corvette c4, or camaro and you'll see. |

I agree that 80's cars aren't going up in value but the 80's wasn't a great decade for cars in general. I could be wrong but I thought the government effectively cut the balls off every automobile cause of some gas shortage. I think a stock well maintained 370z with low miles will hold up better than most people think. And as far as mass produced I think something like 9000 z's were sold in the states last year which is nothing if you compare it to say a ford mustang when ford cranks out 30,000 a month. Just my 2 cents.

The only thing they did was bring back a design from 2007 a la 350 Nismo.

How many Nismos over entire prodution run? It must be very limited and potentially collectible.

I'm daily driving mine, so it won't be worth anything. Oh well. Fun is priceless.

I think the 350 Nismo is rarer. They only produced about 1600 of them. I'd say maybe 1400 are still driving around today. But yes I dd mine too so it will be worth nothing but nostalgia.

I was at a Nissan dealership yesterday , and they had that same color nismo (white/gun metal) next to a $126k gtr black. And it still looked real good next to it.
