Extended Warrenty

The conventional wisdom is to never buy a 3rd party extended service contract. If you really want one, buy the Nissan Factory extended service contract. Santa Rosa Nissan is California

If you really want one, buy the Nissan Factory extended service contract.

Santa Rosa Nissan is California has the lowest price on these that I know of.

But their after sale service is quite lacking from my personal experience. Read the Extended Warranty thread before you buy:

Extended Warranty: Did You Purchase a Nissan Warranty? How much?

I agree the Nissan ext service contract is the way to go though.

Default 3rd Party Warrantees

Consumer Reports says NO! Mostly a waste of money. Lots of people have trouble with them when things go south. And, I agree. And since you bought your Z new, chances are you will not even have it in 4 or 5 years.
