Hey what do you guys think about running VP100 for a tank. Any pros or cons, maybe warranty issues or clauses that might prevent this.

No issues, but no benefit unless you tune for it.

Yep, not a one god damn benefit. Higher octane doesn't mean cleaner/higher purity or the ability to clean anything either.
And being in TX where premium is 93, the ECU has probably advanced all the timing it can anyways without needing a tune

Exactly. All octane is is the ability to resist detonation. The ECU will only add as much timing as the factory map will allow. If you've hit that max, you're not going to gain anything without a tune.

Are you referring to daily driving or on the track? With a tune 100 octane is not the worst money you can spend. Daily driving it is a complete waste.

i ran 101 octane VP at the track. if cali had 93, i wouldnt bother with 101, but i try to mix in a few gallons of 101 or 100 whenever i get the chance. especially at the track where the hot ambient temps could cause some minor pinging with 91 octane
